The Buddy-to-Buddy Volunteer Veteran Program was founded in 2009 at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and Depression Center. The program was made possible through partnerships with the Michigan Army National Guard, the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and Depression Center, and Michigan State University Department of Human Development and Family Studies.

Our West Virginia program would not be possible without the support and generosity of our sponsors: MSPAN, WV Department of Health and Human Resources – Behavioral Health and Health Facilities, Prestera Center, and West Virginia National Guard.
